He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Chapman and Georgia Chapman; and his wife Mary Waughtel Chapman of Fruita. He is survived by: his children, Rio Marquez (Ricky) of Wiggins, Colorado, Rachel Chapman of Lihue, Hawaii and Rilee Chapman of Colorado Springs; his siblings, Beverly Swift (Ulysses) of Colorado Springs, Cynthia Chapman Austin of Colorado Springs and James Chapman (Brenda) of Newark, Delaware.; and his grandchildren, Maceo, Nando, Linnea and Koen. He is also survived by other granddaughter on the way; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
