James A. Spearot Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, at the age of 80, James A. Spearot of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though James may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spearot and Nellie B. Spearot; and his brother Joseph Christo. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Rebecca M. Spearot; his sons, Douglas Edward Spearot and Alan Christopher Spearot; and his daughters-in-law, Michelle Lynn Spearot and Stacey Christine Blasing. He is also survived by his brother's children.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Jim to support the James and Rebecca Spearot Scholarship in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware.
