She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Aldinger and Elsie Jane Fast Aldinger. She is survived by: her husband Rod Summitt; her children, John Shannon, Jeffrey Alec and Julie Kathleen (Swankowski); and her siblings, Beverly Aldinger Lutz and James Aldinger. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Colorado Cancer Foundation, PO Box 7116 Boulder, CO 80302.
