He was predeceased by: his father Lorenzo Rogers Jr. (Mary); and his son David E. Rogers Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Rogers (Hazel Rogers); and his children, Dennis Rogers Sr. (Linda), Debra Wilson (CL) and Linda Lanigan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory (1104 S Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
