She was predeceased by: her husband Randall Newendyke; and her siblings, Hans Hilbers and Hendrika Van Dongen. She is survived by: her children, Gordon, Richard, Christine Newendyke and Laura Zarlengo (Newendyke); and her grandchildren, Mark Newendyke (Aubrie), Michael Newendyke, April Morring (Casey), Kelly Ranieri (Nick), Glen Chapman, Alexa Zarlengo and Livia Zarlengo. She is also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
