It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Modesto Rudy Abila of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Abila and Faye Abila (Suazo); and his brothers, Albert, Walter Jr., Delfino and Michael.
He is survived by: his brother Ronnie Abila (D'Ann); his wife Diana Abila (Raygoza); his children, Brenda Vigil (Chulo), Christina Aquilar, Delilah Herndon (Brett), Felicia Adams and Lorenzo Abila; and his grandchildren, Britanya, Zenaea, Ivanna Ontiveros-Vigil, Elena, Brianna Raygoza, Gabrielle, Marissa, Damien Aguilar, Kieran, Javan, Liam Herndon, LeToya, Zivon Abila and Tyvonious Adams.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (720 Crestline Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80916).
