He was predeceased by: his parents, James Starkey and Edna Starkey (Fones); and his brother James Starkey. He is survived by: his wife Joan Starkey of Colorado Springs, CO; his daughter Robyn Kelly (David Kelly) of Darien, IL; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Kelly of Elgin, IL and Leah Patterson (Nathan Patterson); his great grandchild Jack Elliott Patterson of Escondido, CA; his granddaughter Hannah Kelly of Box Elder, SD; his daughter Eryn Starkey-Larson (Jeremy Larson) of Winterville, NC; his grandchildren, Deryk Starkey and JoLynn Larson; his son Richard EJ Starkey of Colorado Springs, CO; and his brothers, Douglas Starkey of Youngsville, NC, Timothy Starkey of Dallas, TX and Michael Starkey of Manassas, VA.. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandson.
