It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vineta Jean Niemet of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on December 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bacil Hood and Abilene Hood (Hughey); her husband Walter Niemet; and her son Richard Niemet. She is survived by: her children, Donald Niemet (Connie) of Colorado Springs, Robert Niemet (Floy) of Colorado Springs, Debra Gorman (Dave) of Colorado Springs and Sharon Pelache (Danny) of State College, Pennsylvania; her siblings, Leona Wynn and Jerry Hood; and her grandchildren, Steven Niemet, David Niemet, Heath Niemet, Heather Davis, Jason Pelache, Jennifer Pelache, Brian Gorman and Tara Gorman. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
