He is survived by: his wife Seferina Jaso Montoya; his children, Geraldine Kemm, Tim Steinman, Bill McAfee, Susan Garcia, Gregory Montoya and Troy Montoya; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Amy Kemm, Christine, David Blair, Shawn Ellis and Michael Garcia; his great grandchildren, Steven Johnson, Tomas Ellis, Garrett Blair, Pierson Blair, Archer Blair, Olevia Kemm and Jayson Garcia; his great great grandchildren, Parker Johnson and Lilly Maria Johnson; and his sisters, Nora Sandoval, Phyllis Lucero and Dora Salazar.
