He was predeceased by : his parents, Deanna Striley and Billy D. Watson. He is survived by : his daughter Raeanne Watson-Vesper; his son-in-law Lance Vesper; his former life partner Marlene Watson; his stepmother Herma Watson; and his siblings, Devena Branson, Robert "Bruce" Uptain (Earlene), Lindy Brogden, Clint Watson (Freda) and Kevin Watson (Chrissy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
