He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Walter and Bessie Dee Gripp (Seitz); his daughter Cathy Annette; and his siblings, Dick and Martha.
He is survived by: his wife Helenn of Crestone; his children, Lee, Kisha Gripp, Steve and Pam Gripp; his grandchildren, Jaredmichael Fish-Gripp, Zachary Gripp, Eric Gripp, Jennifer Dixon, Jeremy Gripp, Amy Contreras, Melissa Hopkins and Cory Lunt; and his sister Dorothy Schoenhals. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
