She was predeceased by: her parents, William Adolph Heller and Hazel Victoria Heller (White); her husband John Wesley Dutton, Jr.; her brother William A. Heller, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Cooley Heller.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Wells (Donald) of Monte Vista; her grandson Kevin Long; her great grandchild Wesley Long; and her grandson Dave Long (Michelle "Micky").
