He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Clinton Hatfield and Vesta Hatfield (Pennington); his children, Fern Taylor (Bud) of Texas and Nick Hatfield (Carolyn) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Tanya Ward (Andy) of Texas, Ty Taylor (Jill) of Texas and Nicholas Hatfield (Chris) of Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Ward of Texas, Ethan, Logan, Abby Taylor of Texas, Cate, Max, Theo Hatfield of Colorado and Clarence.

Memorials may be given in his name and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
