He was predeceased by: his wife June Pohs (Penberthy); his siblings, Henry Pohs and Clara "Dolly" Ansay; his brothers-in-law, Ron Ansay and Jesse Penberthy; his mother Clara Pohs (Sedlmayer); his nephews, Gregory Pohs and Jerome Penberthy; his grandchildren, Joseph Pohs, Ryan Pohs and Christian Morroni; and his father Henry M. Pohs.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Pohs, Michael Pohs (Eileen) and Kathleen Morroni (Greg); his grandchildren, Christopher Pohs, Katie Pohs, Lauren Pohs, Patrick Pohs, Megan Pohs and Mary-Joy Morroni; and his sister Clara E. "Dolly" Pohs (Later). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - South Metro/Centennial (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4380 Utica St, Denver, CO 80212). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
