She was predeceased by: her husband Minoru Matsunaga; and her brothers, Paul Yokota and Joe Yokota. She is survived by: her nieces, Jane Yokota, Alice Yokota, Linda Yokota, Miki Cannizzaro (Yokota), Jenniffer Sheldon (Yokota) and Kim Ammons (Matsunaga); and her nephew Brian Matsunaga.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Cathedral (1350 N Washington St, Denver, CO 80203). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247).
