He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Randell Dannemann and Althea Rivarde Dannemann. He is survived by: his wife Holly Hatch; his children, Fransiska Dugick and Peter; his brother Randell; and also Brannon Dugick.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Outdoor Leadership School scholarship fund.
