He is survived by: his former wife Rose Virginia Houghtlin; his wife Rose V. Akins; his children, Larry W. Akins, Nancy J. Akins, Sue Akins, Jeannette and Lassell; his grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Akins, Arron Akins, Kristin Toledo, April Toledo, Galen Lincoln, Megan Hoffman and Jonathan Lassell; and his sibling's children, Tommy and Linda Akins of Farmington.
