Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bobby Howerton of Eads, Colorado, born in Altus, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 20, 2020. He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle Thomas Howerton and Iva Lee Boren-Howerton; his wife Elberta "Bert" Keathley Howerton; his daughter Connie Sue McPherson; and his siblings, Alice Mae Seals, Iva Merle "Typee" Partney and Thomas Merle Howerton.
He is survived by : his daughters, Peggy Wyatt of Penrose, CO, Donna Huddleston of Colorado Springs, CO and Tina Miner (Scott) of Perryton, TX; his grandchildren, Rev. M. Blake Wyatt (Heather), Megan Lening, Jason Huddleston (Kristen), Dony McPherson (Ginger), Bobbi Scott (Josh), Michael Miner (Lisa) and Brad Miner (Kim); his great grandchildren, Matthew Wyatt (Devin), Anna Wyatt, Brian Lening (Miranda), Kameron Lening (Brieana Chavez), Dakota Lening, Kynajo Lening, Sophia, Jonas, Quinn Huddleston, Layla, Carmen McPherson, Jamion, Cliff, Kari, London, Nate Scott, Caysie Miner, Dustin and Dakota Miner; his great great grandchildren, Avarie Lening and Emma Wyatt; and his sister Wanda Fosdick (Sam) of Manzanola, CO.
Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, a private interment for the family will be held at the Eads Cemetery under the direction of Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, CO.
