It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Gully (Englewood, Colorado), born in Carpenter, South Dakota, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James W. Gully and Margaret J. Gully (Walsh); his wife Verda Loretta Pew; his children, LaDonna (Jack Jancsy) of Swampscott Massachusetts, Valerie (Richard Saiz) of Denver, James (Jim) and Mark Gully (Cheri Oldemeyer); his grandchildren, Amber Head (Simon), Cassandra Walker (Terrence), Brianna Melson (Garrett), Michaela, Emma, Graham, Colin, Baxter, Colton and Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Torryn Grace, Charlotte Dean and Brayden Leo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 6th 2021 from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (3310 S Sherman St, Englewood, CO 80113). Viewing was held on Thursday, May 6th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Drinkwine Family Mortuary (999 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton, CO 80120). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 6th 2021 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Laradon Hall, (in memory of Leo Gully and in honor of Graham Saiz) Denver Colorado.
