He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Thomas and Benjamin Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jarka; his sons, Pavel (Tenny) and Michal (Irene); and his granddaughters, Lillian and Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He died of complications due to Covid-19.
