She is survived by: her sons, Devin (Stefanie) and Brent (Bri); her sisters, Cindy (John) and Joni (Gary); her aunt Carolyn; her uncle Lyle; her sister Margaret Coleman; and her husband Ed Shanahan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating in Laura's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
