He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Dorene Seidel, Calvin Edwards, Glenn Edwards, Irene Curl and Harold Edwards.

He is survived by: his spouse Linda Edwards; his parents, Earl Edwards and Verna Edwards; his son Jon (Maria Pilar); his sister Naomi Dutch; and his stepchildren, Kristi Butterfield (Tom), Jodi Runge, Kelli Ramsdale (David), Charlie Fitzgibbon (Melissa) and Janice Smith (Travis).

Donations can be made to the Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center or to Alzheimer's research.
