She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph David Mendel and Elizabeth Viola Hofer; her sister Gloria Mendel; her sisters-in-law, Pat and Janice Mendel; and her nieces and nephews, James, Marce, Jason Mendel, Karlene, Carissa and Stacie Mendel.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Wolverton (Kim) of Evergreen, Colorado, Rachel Trostrud (Michael) of Carlsbad, California and Ivan Wolverton (Stephanie) of Evergreen, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jessica Wolverton, Michael Trostrud, Sierra Trostrud and Aubrey Wolverton; her stepgrandchild Tristan Eighmey; and her siblings, Esther Weems (Jim) of Sioux Falls, Kathy Hofer (Darrell) of Huron, Don Mendel (Lavonne) of Doland, Joe Jr. Mendel (Janet) of Brookings and David Mendel (Judy) of Doland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
