He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer C. Rasmussen, Sr. and Sadie Rasmussen (Slinde); his son Jeff (Sherri); and his siblings, Elmer Jr., Howard, Charles, Leonard, Shirley, Harriet and Sonja.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry Lee Glantz of Longmont; and his children, Famuer Jr. Rasmussen (Carmen) and Nanette Klibbe (Jim).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel (326 Terry St, Longmont, CO 80501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Faith Community Lutheran Church (9775 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO 80504). A committal service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery (620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the Mountain View Cemetery (620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501).
