Allen Derry Pierson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Derry Pierson of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Spencer, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Robert H. and Irene Pierson (Derry); his brother Robert Pierson (Nancy); his children, Susan Castellon (Michael) of Fort Collins, Daniel (Carminda) of Wichita, KS and Sarah of Fort Collins; his stepdaughter Anne (Carlos) of Noronha; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Caroline Castellon, Remi Pierson, Matthew and Eva of Noronha; his former wife Marilyn Pierson (Greene); his sister Mary Edith Velardi; and his wife Marilyn Barnes. He was also cherished by ten nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Red Cross of Larimer County, the Minister's Fund of Foothills Unitarian Church, or your local PBS station.
