He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Karns and Mary Karns; and his brothers, Arthur "Sammy" and Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Loretta (Gebhardt) of Fort Collins, CO; his children, David (Ann) of Galeton, CO, Mark (Caren) of Greeley, CO, Thomas (Lisa) of Fort Collins, CO and Laura (Louis) of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Lee (Destiny), Aron (Kristina), Stephen, Dantevious (Christina), Ashley (Shaun), Ryan (Elli), Resha (Kendrell), Kaitlynn, Kelly (Callie) and Derek; and his siblings, Irene and Jack. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Faith Church of Windsor (1020 Walnut St, Windsor, CO 80550-4754). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery (8426 S College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525).
