He was predeceased by: his father Larry Steffen; his brother Dwayne Steffen; his grandparents, Emil and Elsie Steffen; and his nephew Josh Baird.
He is survived by: his parent Edna Steffen; his wives, Judy Schiefer and Judy Steffen of Fort Collins; his son Jerod Steffen of Fort Collins; his grandchildren, Aliya Steffen of Fort Collins, Deja Marie Brown of Illinois and Jaxon Steffen of Indiana; and his siblings, Robin Rippee of Fort Collins, Rick Steffen of Loveland, Janice Lienemann of Fort Collins, Diana Baird of Fort Collins and Michael Steffen of Alamosa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
