He is survived by: his stepchildren, Andrea Johnson (Chapman), Matthew Chapman, Paula Hildebrandt and John Hildebrandt; his grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Alex Johnson and Makenna Dahmer; and his sister Miriam Chapman. He is also survived by four children.
