It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna McGovern (Fort Collins, Colorado), born in Bay Shore, New York, who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joe McGovern of Brooklyn, NY and Katy McGovern Bonesteel of Centerport, NY; her significant other Ken Witty; her son-in-law Rich Bonesteel; her grandchildren, Brody and Harper; her father Joe Greenhalgh; her siblings, Alan Greenhalgh, George Greenhalgh and Debbie Randolph; her siblings-in-law, Karen Greenhalgh, Barbara Greenhalgh, Chris Randolph, Moe Gieges, Kathleen Orenczak, Jim McGovern, Nance Chambers and Ed McGovern; and her former husband Tom McGovern. She was also cherished by seventeen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Donna requested that donations be made to the Family Housing Network of Fort Collins (970-484-3342; PO Box 1765, Fort Collins, CO 80522), a non-profit focused on providing food and shelter for those experiencing homelessness, where Donna frequently volunteered.
