Backes (Fort Collins, Colorado), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarus Backes Sr.; and her parents, Earl Conn and Mary Conn. She is survived by: her daughter Laura; her son-in-law Jon Bard of Fort Collins, CO; her son Clarus; her daughter-in-law Kira Backes of Auburn, CA; her son Michael Backes; her daughter-in-law Liane Bennett of Aurora, CO; her brother Dennis Conn of Greenville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Matthew Bard and Amelia Backes.

Flowers may be sent to Goes Funeral Care and donations may be made in her name to the Denver Rescue Mission.
