He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry "Hank" and Clasina Brandsma; his children, Nathan Brandsma (Jennifer), Rachel Lucas (Jeremiah), Emily Siobhan Brandsma, Travis Brandsma (Margaret) and Sarriah Brandsma; and his siblings, Phyllis Jordan, Kathy Arns (Dave) and John Brandsma (Ginny). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
