He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emilia Jaramillo and Carlos Jaramillo; his children, Adeleida "Dela" Jaramillo, James Jaramillo, Adrian Castillo and Sandra Castillo-Meza; his siblings, Lucio, Alejandro "Shorte" and Guadalupe "Lupe" Jaramillo; and his grandson Mathew Elijah T. Jaramillo. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
