He was predeceased by: his parents, Kersey Welty and Helen Welty (Campbell); and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Patty Tilger; his daughters, Kelley Strobel (Curt), Kim Welty-Drennan (Galen) and Kristy Janicki (Jay); his grandchildren, Skyler Whitmore (Ben), Michie, Jake Strobel, Shayla Drennan, Dylan Drennan, Carter Janicki, Andi Janicki and Jacey Janicki; his great grandchild Blakely Whitmore; his brother Sam Sioux (Cherryl); and his pet Archie.
