With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M. Shields of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Loveland, Colorado, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John M. Shields to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Shields and Isabella Shields; his children, Steve (Linda), Rick (Lori), Daniel (Maria Yetty) and Brooke (Deborah); his grandchildren, Luke, Joel, Kim, Zeke and Oliver; his great grandchildren, Kaden and Colby; and his wife Patricia.
Due to Covid-19 a small private memorial service was held on August 26 where his ashes were placed at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins next to his loving wife Patricia.
Memorial donations may be made in John's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Collins where he was an active and dedicated member.
