Kevin cherished the special bond of being with family and friends. "Heavy Kevy' a nickname earned shortly after birth, was honest, genuine, funny, kind, and thoughtful. He was compassionate and generous to those less fortunate, even when he didn't have much to give. Although now is a difficult time for family and those who knew him, the why has been answered, our beloved Kevin Joseph, he of pure and golden heart is at peace. Kevin is survived by his father, Todd Boldt of Fort Collins. He is also survived by older brother Kyle Boldt of Chicago, IL, younger brother Matthew Boldt, younger sisters Kara Boldt and Allison Boldt of Fort Collins. Aunt Sandra Whitmer (Boldt) and Uncle Larry Whitmer of East Moline, IL. Kevin also had and nurtured a special and binding relationship with family members, Jennifer Ivans (Whittenberg), Kelsey Williams (Whittenberg), Lauren Petaja (Whittenberg), and Nick Whittenberg all in Northern Colorado and longtime family friend Scott Wood of Fort Collins. Kevin was preceeded in passing by his Mother, Mary Ann Boldt, and both grandparents Theodore J. and Vernetta (Ptacek) Boldt of Moline, IL., as well as Thomas A. and Nancy K. Habiger (Kretschmer) of Pueblo, Colorado. A Visitation of friends and family will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service in Fort Collins on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6pm - 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 2:00 pm on Friday June 1, 2018, followed by a reception at St. Joseph's.
