Lisa Anne Wilson Obituary

Love Beyond Measure". This is the apt inscription that hangs amidst a wall of family photos in the living room of Lisa Anne Wilson-Dwyer, who died from heart failure in her sleep Sunday, April 8th at her Fort Collins Home. Lisa was born to Albert and Dorothy (Kibble) Parker in Pomeroy, Ohio September 25, 1964. She was raised on a large farm with nine siblings and grew up with a connection to nature and to family that only deepened with age. Lisa began her own family in 1981 with the birth of her son Jeffrey, followed by the births of daughters Beth and Mandie four and five years later. Over the span of the next 30 years, she provided for her family and engaged with people in need through jobs ranging from emergency room nurse, non-profit finance director, and senior caregiver. She met her second husband, Brian Dwyer, in 1999, and invited him to be a part of her family as it grew to include grandchildren. Lisa worked alongside Brian at Fort Collins Muffler and Automotive while taking care of Brian's father in his final years of life. As a mother, wife, grandmother, caregiver and friend, Lisa led a life brimming with compassion for and devotion to others. The kind of person that would do anything to lift another's spirits, she found her greatest joy in family relationships, particularly with her grandchildren. Without a doubt, Lisa' life was all about perpetuating "love beyond measure". Lisa is survived by: her husband Brian Dwyer; her children and their partners, Jeffery (Natalie), Elizabeth (Joshua), and Mandie (Chad); her grandchildren Devyn, Payton, Teigan, Mason, Alex and Jaxson; her siblings and their partners, David, Byron, Joe (Sue), Renee, Teresa (Bruce), George (Susan), Tom (Shanna), Mary (Jeff) and Frank (Amy). Lisa's family will host a ceremony of remembrance, followed by a reception, this Friday, April 13th at 5:30 p.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W Drake Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Lisa's favorite charitable organization is St. Jude's Children's Hospital. You may send flowers or donations at your preference.
