She was predeceased by: her parents, John James Halliday and Mary Ellen (Majury); and her brothers, Robert and John James. She is survived by: her children, Philip Desmond (Sharma Higgins), Elizabeth Ann (Rae) and David John (Tina Fielding); and her sisters, Beatrice Francis (Patsy) and Violet (Diaz). She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.
