She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Stai and Carol Stai (Shaker); her daughter Kathleen; her grandchildren, Dustin, Dontae and Tammy; and her nephew Curtis.

She is survived by: her children, Glenette, Neil, Richard, Donae Hovey, Claydesta and Lavelle Harris. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
