He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dake and Beulah Dake (Flanery); his sons, Jeffrey and Kenneth; and his sister Shirley Knapp.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Dake of Laporte; his son Steven Dake (Kerri) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Tanner Dake, Lexi Dake of Wellington, CO and Andrew Dake of Winchester, KS; his great grandchildren, Bentley Dake and Waylon Dake of Wellington; and his siblings, Kathleen Moore of New Era, MI, Joyce Calkins (Willard) of Wessingon Springs, S. Dakota, Levoy Dake of North Shores, MI., Carl Dake (Winnie) of South Boardman, MI, Fred Dake (Joyce) of Hulbert, MI, Nellie Swartz (Carl) of La Porte, CO. and Plus. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
