With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Haugen of Fort Collins, Colorado, who passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Haugen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Maltby and Helen Maltby (Larson); her husband Henry; her siblings, Harriet Hovland, Delbert Maltby (Bud) and Denton Maltby; and her sisters-in-law, Lue Maltby, Faye Haugen and Myrtle Friederich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Metcalf of Fort Collins, CO and Janice Sweeney (Steve) of Minot, ND; her sister Ardyce Melby of Crosby, ND; her siblings-in-law, Ann Maltby of Billings, MT., Dwaine Melby, Harold Hovland, Norman Haugen, Ole Haugen, Herman Haugen and Julius Friederich; and her sibling's children, Sallie Munn, Jennifer Maltby and Lynn Haugen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westhope.
