She is survived by : her husband Thomas Hegdal; her former life partner Michael Mayeda; her children, Julia Halualani, Shelby Hegdal, Jeffrey Mayeda and Elliot Hegdal; her nieces, Lauren Kirkland, Rachel Kirkland and Grace Turner; her nephew David Kirkland; and her granddaughters, Emi and Mei.
