He was predeceased by: his parents, Kent Caskey and Laura Caskey; his brother Joseph Paul (Alyson Ring Caskey); and his uncle Kurt. He is survived by: his friend Lilia Saldana of Greeley; his uncles, Joel Klaff (John Diekman) and Timothy Klaff (Julianna); his aunt Jayne Rosandich (Steven); and his cousins, Emily, Sarah, Samantha and Melissa.
