He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Schilling and Katie Schilling; and his brothers, Edwin Schilling and Stan Schilling. He is survived by: his granddaughter Debbie; his wife Lois Schilling (Deines); his daughters, Denise Faulkner (Kurt) and Debbie Schilling; his granddaughters, Caley Faulkner, Lissa Faulkner, Jordan Schwindt (Josiah), Amanda Riedel and Samantha Riedel; and his brothers, Walt Schilling and Jerry Schilling (LaNor).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, or Pathways Hospice.
