He was predeceased by : his father Ray Kirk; his grandparents, Fred, Marie Bailey, Dean and Dorothy Kirk; and his half-brother Josh Dean.

He is survived by : his mother Eleanor Robison (Baily); his stepfather Marion Robison of Fort Morgan; his brother Jerry Kirk (Teresa); his nephews, Treavor Kirk and Levi Kirk (Emily) of Fort Collins; and his stepson David McDonald.
