He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Jones and Patsy Jean Strong; and his close friend Rick Housey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones (Trish); his children, Derek Jones (Alicia Jones), Amanda Benedict (John Benedict), Cory Jones and Tyler Jones (Chrissy Jones); and his brother Mike Jones (Jim Jones). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home (632 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jul Funeral Service (610 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
