She is survived by: her parents, Brigietta James of Delta, CO and Joseph R. Johnson Sr. of Belleville, IL; her sisters, Shakela Thomas of Houston, Sharesse Johnson of Dallas and Zandra Cotton Hawthorne of Denver; her grandmother Ella D. Bennett (Zebede); and her aunt Barbara Cotton-Pearson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousin.
