He was predeceased by: his brother Alfred Atencio; and his half-siblings, Tillie Martinez, Eva Martinez, Nastacio Atencio and Esperanza Atencio.
He is survived by: his grandmother Rumaldita Atencio; his sister Mary D. Cordova of Greeley; and his nieces, Esther D. Caleb (Sam) of Cheyenne, Geraldine R. Cordova of Lakewood, Cathy Lujan (Jack) of Loveland, Jeannette D. Cordova of Greeley and Steffanie D. Cordova of Loveland.
