He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Martinez and Dolores M. Martinez; his grandparents, Nestro Martinez, Emilia Martinez, Edwardo Velasquez and Inacila Velasquez; his great-nephew Elijah Martinez; and his great-niece Holly Reed.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gilbert, Edwardo Martinez Greeley, Lucila Appleton Ft (Alfie) and Juanita. He is also survived by 9 nephews, 5 nieces, 9 grandnephews, 3 grandnieces, and a large loving extended family.
