He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Clay Johnson of Dallas; his granddaughters, Sarah and Shelby; his children, Chaynee, Cason, Carty, Creed, Chaylis, Jerry, Jo Stugart, John, Jennifer Stugart, Gunner (Gracie), Joyce (Joel Rothman), Joey Rothman, Willi (Nathan Merrill), Natalie, Trey and Aalliyah; and also, Vicky Speed, Jack and Harvey.
