It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Garza Jr. (Greeley, Colorado), born in Nixon, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garza, Sr. and Refugia Mungia; his children, Patricia Alvarez and Alfredo Garza; his brother Raymond Garza; and his children-in-law, Patti Garza and Salome Alvarez.
He is survived by: his wife Eva S. Garza of Greeley; his children, Graciela Martinez (Daniel) of Ault, Sandra Lee Benevides of Greeley, Brenda Lee Archuleta of Greeley, Jose Manuel Garza of Evans, Michael A. Garza of Johnstown and Ricardo Garza of Estes Park; and his siblings, Angie Maltos (Val) of Corpus Christi, Berna Strayer (David) of California, Connie Martinez (Marco) of Greeley, Alicia Garza of Evans, Thomas Garza of McAllen and John Garza (Ruth) of Evans. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
